Lycos is an Oldenburg stallion by the famous Landor S and out of a Zeus mother. Landor S, by Landadel/Landgraf/Ladykiller was Champion of the Bundeschampionjat at Warendorf, making him Champion - Horse of Sports of the year in 1997. Landor S produced both "Brilliant" and "Elite" offspring, which have sold for record prices at auction. His son, Lycos, was Landesmeister Champion as a five year old, before being imported to America.

Zeus was a 16.3 hand stallion with many offspring competing overseas in show jumping. Their winnings maintain him as one of the Top Ten Jumping Sires in Europe. As a 9-time champion of his age group, and with the earnings of his offspring totaling almost 4 million DM, in Germany alone, Zeus is known as one of the best producers of jumpers the world has ever seen. Tinka's Boy, a Zeus Grandson who was second at the 2000 World Cup at Las Vegas.
