Eurosport Horses

Eurosport Horses is a training facility for high-performance show jumping horses. Our farm is located in Bonsall, Ca.

Head trainer and owner, Justin Resnik, has been riding horses since he was 5 years old. By age 12 he was fully committed and competed in America and Canada as a teenager. At age 16 he got a job breaking, riding and training top quality prospects just arriving in America. When he was 21 years old, he was hired by the prestigious sales yard, Paul Schockemohle, in Muhlen, Germany and headed for Europe with two duffle bags, a saddle and Rocky, his English bulldog.

After working for Schockemohle, he was hired to be the Grand Prix rider for a family in Northern Germany. There he established Eurosport Horses and competed in International competitions in Europe for 6+ years before returning to America. While in Europe he competed in CSI*** and CSI**** competitions and won a German National Grand Prix on his horse Lynas. He particularly enjoyed competing in Italy, Austria and Holland.

In Holland he met Egbert and Julie Kraak and worked with them for over a year before returning to America and re-establishing Eurosport Horses in California.

Justin credits his experience in Europe, along with the multitude of horses he has ridden with giving him the confidence and ability to train horses to love their job and reach their maximum potential.

While some trainers try to fit each horse into the same mold, Justin recognizes a horse's individuality and allows them to express it.

"You will get more out of your horse that way", says Justin. He also believes that good ground-work is essential and seldom jumps his horses at home.

Eurosport Horses accepts horses from around the world to be trained, or re-trained under different circumstances.
